Job Description
My client is a leader in the Custom Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P) world.  They are essentially a prominent medical device innovator & fabricator / healthcare treatment company, who make and fit custom prosthetics for individuals, who have lost a limb due to an accident or disease.  They have been in business for roughly 20 years, and have several research centers and treatment clinics all over the U.S.  Due to ongoing growth in their business, their Cleveland clinic is presently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their staff as a Rehabilitation Coordinator.

The Rehabilitation Coordinator is responsible for assisting patients in identifying their goals and working toward achieving their fullest level of prosthetic independence. This role also involves working side by side with certified prosthetic specialists utilizing the most advanced prosthesis system technology.  The Rehabilitation Coordinators collaborate with therapists and other medical professionals to maximize evidenced based patient outcomes. Their clinicians actively participate in research, publications, and professional presentations to advance prosthetic limb rehabilitation.

  • Must have an Ohio State License to practice as an OT.
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OTR/L or MOTR/L) is required.
  • 3+ years of experience as an occupational therapist is required.
  • Experience developing individualized treatment plans is a must.
  • Experience in and/or knowledge of the field of prosthetics is preferred.
  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is strongly preferred.
  • Should have Strong organizational skills.
  • Should be a Self-starter with an ability to multitask.
  • Must be comfortable working in a high pressure environment.
