Job Description
Our client is the largest spa and wellness marketing company in North America, is seeking a seasoned Sponsorship Sales Specialist to handle all Corporate Gift Sales in New York City. They are an established national brand with a blog and social community centered on beauty, fitness, fashion, food and health.

The company's wide range of digital and retail products, including its bi-annual week event is designed to help thousands of health & wellness centers grow their own businesses. Their specialty gift cards are sold to almost 75,000 locations nationwide and accepted at over 10,000 partner locations. In addition, the gift card is also sold directly on the web, as well as, through many B2B loyalty/ incentive and wellness program channels.
 
Required Skills:
  • B2B or enterprise sales experience (min 3-5 years)
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience, internet & LinkedIn savvy
  • Experience in the gift card, payments, technology sales and/or related spaces
Responsibilities:
  • Must achieve monthly sales revenue and business goals through the following:
    • New account acquisition through prospecting high volume / value accounts
    • Must utilize Salesforce for daily activity.
    • Aligning the Spa & Wellness Gift Card with their corporate needs (wellness programs, client gifting, employee gifting/anniversaries)
    • Executing contracts and closing the deal for outbound and inbound leads
  • Build long term relationships while providing excellent customer service
  • Account management for all new accounts and support existing accounts
  • Responsible for building daily and weekly contact strategies and sales forecasting
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to exchange best practices such as selling strategies and market information
  • Communication:  Keep senior leadership informed of activities, progress, successes and potentials wins/ losses, and overall pipeline management
Preferred Experience:
  • Strong relationships/ contacts, strategizing and closing large scale programs within Corporate America
  • Sales goal-oriented, disciplined and number-driven
  • Superior prospecting skills and polished solution-selling skills
  • Must have a passion for developing long-term, winning relationships with corporate decision makers
  • Flexible, resourceful and able to thrive in a fast-paced & changing environment
  • Entrepreneurial approach with a can-do attitude
  • Prior experience making cold calls and sending cold emails
  • Excellent overall written and verbal communication skills
  • B.A. degree in business related field & experience in sales & marketing communications
